Obviously, since this involves chocolate, this is NOT a dog product review. But, as I do I on occasion, I wanted to share a new thing I adore. I found these very dark chocolates at Costco a few weeks ago. They’re made by Herbert Candies in Massachusetts and are called Fully Loaded Dark Turtle (dark chocolate with pecan pralines & toffee chips).
I can’t find this exact product online, only the full-size bars, but the ones I bought are individually wrapped chocolate squares (.45 oz each). So, they are perfect if you want to indulge without indulging too much.
And, let’s face it … there is a LOT of crap chocolate out there that’s low on actual chocolate and loaded with weird things. This tasted like the real deal, and for that, I am grateful.
So, if your Valentine is a fan of dark chocolate, and I mean DARK, then get some of these. I paid $5 for a package with 49 squares. (Why 49 and not 50? I guess that would put it over the 1 pound limit.)
