While we await news from Lilly’s veterinary neurology recheck appointment this morning, how about a little happy news … for once?
Look at the pretty / fun surprises that arrived in my snail mail recently.
The miniature watercolor paining came from our local / border collie / agility friend Cathy Lester, who is an amazing animal artist. I’m pretty sure that’s her darling Kes, peeking in the window.
UPDATE: Ha! Silly me … that dog in the window is Lilly, not Kes. Since the dog in the painting isn’t black, I assumed it wasn’t Lilly.
The little charm that says, “Love me, Love my dog,” comes from fellow writer and blogger Meredith Resnick. If you do write / want to write, I encourage you to read her blog The Writer’s [Inner] Journey.
Thanks so much, girls, for the mood boost!
If only more people did such things to each other 🙂
I mean today if we make someone happy, others may already think “what do you need him to?” or “what it’s there for you?”
But maybe peeps dont know it’s reciprocal! Today i complimented the old lady in my post office. I left her with a smile, and i was smiling as well – knowing that i just made her day better :=)
It was my pleasure, Rox (and Lil!). And I LOVE the painting. It is wonderful.
Those are really good surprises for all bloggers…Thank you for the update!
Aw, that’s such a nice surprise!
Who is the vaccine company? Where did the vaccine come from? I hope not from the land of Happy Hips. Just sayin’
Maybe I’m just exhausted from all the worry, but I don’t know what “land of the Happy Hips” means, @Left Bank.
Sometimes we really need little happy news…Anyway, for me this is very inspirational…
Oh, how sweet! I love getting special little things in snail mail, especially since no one uses it much anymore!
Hi Y’all,
Paws crossed the news was good.
I knew that was Lilly, just look at the picture of you both and then look at the ears in the window…silly you. 😉 😉
