If you allow your dog(s) and/or cat(s) to sleep in your bed, then you probably know the struggle of a build-up of hair and dander on your bedding -- even with weekly washing. That's the problem Furify bed sheets for pet lovers addresses by using bamboo textiles. We've had them on our bed for several weeks now. Here's what I think.

Based in Singapore since 2023, the company's founders wanted to create natural bedding for people who allow their pets to sleep in bed with them. The goal? A cleaner bed for everyone. Also, 10% of all proceeds go to support animal shelters in the U.S.
Currently, Furify bed sheets feature a 300 thread count, but the company plans new ultra-luxury options with 400 thread counts. They come in white, a peach color, a mint green color, and dark gray. A full set of sheets retails for about $174 (queen) and $189 (king).

Let's Talk Wrinkles
It turns out that 100% bamboo fabrics wrinkle naturally. To mitigate wrinkles, the company recommends:
- Washing them on gentle cycle with cold or warm water (not hot water, no bleach)
- Line drying to maintain softness (low-heat tumble dry also an option)
- Gentle iron setting, if needed ... but honestly, who irons sheets anymore????

WRINKLES ! Notice that I'm not including photos of the sheets on our bed, and that's because I simply cannot get them to look tidy. It's partly the wrinkles, but also partly just the slippery nature of the fabric. It feels good on the skin, but it's almost impossible to get things to lay fully flat -- especially the duvet cover. For a number of reasons, including my recent injury, I flip and flop a lot in bed, so I really wrinkle the Furify bed sheets while I'm sleeping. It's kind of hilarious.
COOLING ! It's still pretty cold at night here in Colorado, so we're currently adding a couple fleece blankets to the bed. Brrrr. That said, Furify bed sheets will be IDEAL for summertime. They feel SO cool to the skin. I've also found them helpful when my shattered ankle surgery scars hurt overnight. I just move my leg into a cool spot of the sheets, and it's kind of like icing my ankle.
CLEANER ! We only allow one dog at a time to sleep overnight with us, but I do sometimes take naps with all 3 dogs in bed with me. Typically, it's Tori who gets to have slumber parties on Mr. Champion of My Heart's "Friday night," which is really Tuesday, but then he often cheats and lets Tori sleep with us on actually Fridays as well. She's the best slumber party pal. The others hog the bed and pin us down. In our experience so far, even during the beginning of peak allergy season for us, Furify bed sheets do NOT trap dog hair, dander, or other allergens.

COLORS ! The available colors don't really work with our decor + 3 dogs, so we got the dark gray. I hope they come out with a nice tan or light brown color at some point.
PILLOW CASES ! In addition, definitely get yourself some new appropriately sized pillows. My 2 pillows are smallish, so the envelope style pillow cases don't work great for me. They fit my sweeties more normal pillows much better.
Oddly Enough, I'm Allergic to Bamboo
It's a long story, but suffice it to say that I once touched real, live bamboo, and my hand swelled up HUGE. Happy to report, though, that I am NOT allergic to the bamboo sheets.
