We had another big-ish snow storm last Friday, so Lilly and I played a little snowball fetch over the weekend. It’s hard to throw and film, and I never seem to capture the really high or wild pounces, but some clips in the new Snowball Fetch video are pretty cute.
We play this game quite a bit since I hate losing toys in the snow, and she is just as happy to chase snowballs. Here is a link to one of our original snowball fetch videos.
Champion of My Heart YouTube Channel
To make things a little easier, we beefed up our YouTube Channel a bit on Monday and made a video link page for it in our right sidebar. If you ever need to find one of our old videos, it might be faster and easier to go through our YouTube Channel. Not that we don’t love having you guys poking around the main site here. :o)
Snowball fetch. Nope, can’t do that in South Florida. Sounds like lots of fun. I bet the Borders love it. We have a 7 Borders, including a litter born on Saturday. What a sweet blessing. Thanks for sharing the photos. Tam
She looks like she’s having so much fun. At least you can see her black coat in the snow. My (white) dog all but disappears in the snow!
Lilly looks great! So happy and fit! Since we’re not allowed to play fetching games with R, we don’t play snowball fetching anymore, but it’s a fun one!!
You’re getting really good with movie editing software!
I do that with my dog, too. Funny how they never seem to figure out why the snow balls disappear.
I think she knows what’s going on, but plays anyway.
I love how she’s so bouncy and happy — what a sweet girl.
Haha! I love Lilly’s snow face we get to see while she waits for you to throw the snowball. I’m amazed at how dog’s can run (and pounce) through snow so easily.
Way to go, Lilly. Just proves us dog know how to have fun in snow.
We have one dog who just loves balls more than anything else, but when you take him outside to play snowball fetch he gets very upset and confused! He sees the “ball” being thrown, but then he can’t smell it or see where it lands. He ends up heading where it went then stopping and looking confused.
