AMAZING NEWS! Sully and Nadi are home. Home! Home! Who knows where they were, but they came home today (or near home enough that a neighbor saw them, knew them, and got them home). It’s Friday, 1/22, around 2 pm. I am so happy to share this report.
I’m just sick to report that two dogs in our neighborhood have been missing since Tuesday morning. Sully is a somewhat fearful Sharpei. Nadi is a friendly Golden Retriever, who is pregnant. They live on the corner of Calle Louisa and Robinson Hill Road, in our valley. There were reports Tuesday evening of them being further up Robinson Hill Road (where it narrows and is no longer paved), so they may have made it as far as Smith Hill Road to the west of us.
I really need to work today, after weeks of distraction, but it’s so tempting to mount a search party instead.
Lilly and I thought we spotted them on Wednesday during our walk, but it turned out to be a black lab and another small dog with a person we don’t know.

Nadi
Below is the note their mom sent to our local community:
I have two dogs that are missing and have been since Tuesday morning. There have not been a lot of sightings, so I am hoping this might give me a lead as to where to look. I have attached pictures of them.
Sully: Black Shar Pei. He appears to not be friendly and may bark at you if he doesn’t know you. He has never bitten anyone and is just a little scaredy cat. He loves treats and once he feels comfortable will give you kisses if you let him.
Nadi: Female red golden retriever. She is a love and is carrying a littler of puppies. She will likely come right up to you. If you can get Nadi, Sully is likely to follow. He may not get in a car, but if Nadi is in the car he will follow the car.
These guys are part of my family and I would really appreciate anyone’s help in finding them. Sully is pretty short haired and does not do well in the cold and Nadi has is carrying a litter of puppies. So time is of the essence.
Thank you all in advance for your help in finding them. Please feel free to call me if you need any more information.

How awful. I hope they were found or are found soon.
Oh no. I’ll keep my eyes peeled over here but it’s pretty far away. My fingers are crossed.
My heart goes out to the family of these lost dogs. I hope they are found soon!
