FREE e-book "8 Things to Know About Veterinary Care"

August 18, 2009

Shot this video clip this morning. It demonstrates things Lilly has learned from Ginko and from Katie. It takes a tremendous amount of trust for Lilly to A) go belly up in front of another dog and B ) actually play a little in front of another dog.

About the Author Roxanne Hawn

Trained as a traditional journalist and based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, USA, I'm a full-time freelance writer for magazines, websites, and private clients. My areas of specialty include everything in the lifestyles arena, including health and home, personal finance and other consumer interests, relationships and trends, people and business profiles ... and, of course, all things pet related.

I don't just love dogs. I need them in my life. Seriously.

  1. That is just too darn cute. Isn’t it nice to see the dogs completely relaxed and having a good time? They really are best friends.. I think there are PEOPLE out there who aren’t lucky enough to have a friendship as soon as the one these two pooches have.

  2. That is true trust and confidence! K still won’t do that in front of other dogs, except little tiny dogs. She won’t even do it for our other dog R. I think that’s a big step for Lily!

  3. Not only did I enjoy this video; Tommy, our rescued Yorkie mix, loves to watch videos of dogs and this one really got his attention. We’re leaving tomorrow; when we return, I’ll try to get a picture of Tommy watching this video and I’ll email it to you.

Take care and thanks for sharing this.
