Last week, Mary-Alice from Dog Jaunt, a great blog all about dog travel, posted our guest post about the dos and don’ts of hiking in rattlesnake-prone regions. I hope you will check it out. Dog Jaunt has a whole new graphic look and even a neat Dog Jaunt Store, including dog travel stuff and shirts that say … “Because you dog will never ask are we there yet.”
As Dog Geek reminded us recently, I am NOT Crazy. So, no … there are no new dogs at Chez Champion of My Heart, but I wanted to tell you about a new piece I wrote that went live last week on the pet health section of WebMD on this very topic of how best to introduce a new dog or puppy to your current canine pals.

Still, they told all of us to prepare a little acceptance speech, and we had to sign video waivers because the whole thing will be filmed. So we’ll see.
I’ll be at BlogPaws West all day today, so here is a quick photo recap of Ginko’s most recent lovefests with his Grandma.
Imagine my excitement to learn that someone is offering Treibball classes at the county fairgrounds, not hideously far from us. We mentioned this new ball herding sport briefly a while back. Goodness knows we have zero time for something new, but I had hopes.
Remember, my quest to get written prescriptions with plenty of refills so that getting Lilly her medications wasn’t such a hassle? Remember how it took two visits to get the prescriptions because of another emergency at the hospital? Well, imagine my frustration to find that the prescription was wrong — all wrong — when we…
