Quick update. On the advice of fellow bloggers, I hired a totally new website hosting company. The guy there was super helpful and moved all 4 of my sites for me. (Thanks, Charles.) I just had to update a few settings here and there, and voila … everything is now living happily on new servers with a new company. The best news? It fixed all the “tech” problems that my old hosting company said were my fault. Continue reading
Super quick post to say that while Champion of My Heart is working fine for all of you, it’s causing me all kinds of stress behind the scenes with some tech issues. Look for a return to our normal posting schedule once the problem is solved. A total redesign of the site is also likely, so if the site is down here and there or looks weird for a while, that’s why. My apologies. I’m getting things fixed as quickly as I can, but at the moment, I’m having a devil of a time saving any new posts or making any edits to the site that take longer than a few minutes. Quick reminder that the little online dog memorial or tribute jewelry party we’re hosting ends next Friday, July 14. Originally, I was thinking only about creating something treasured to wear after you’ve lost a dog, but look at these amazing bracelets I ordered as a visual reminder of our love and teamwork as I retool agility practice and training — both for me and Clover. Why not create dog tribute jewelry for the amazing dogs currently at our sides? [Don’t miss cute birthday photo of Tori below!]
In Chapter 5 of Heart Dog: Surviving the Loss of Your Canine Soul Mate, I recommend getting a piece (or several pieces) of dog memorial jewelry so that you have a wearable symbol to keep with you. I’m super, Super, SUPER excited to tell you about a new dog memorial jewelry option I’ve discovered.
Remember I said back in March that we did NOT think a new dog supplement was causing Clover’s weird dog blood work problems? Perhaps premature. We tested Clover’s blood again last week, nearly a month after one blood test showed improvement. The news? Her dog blood work update results look WAY off again. That puts us back to looking at a supplement as the issue since I went ahead and put her back on it when her values started to improve. Drat!
