The daily rain this spring and summer makes the wildflowers pop out like crazy. Even neighbors who have lived in the valley much longer than we have say it’s the most rain they’ve ever seen. And, the flowers? Well, see for yourself.
This one is out back by the clothesline.
This is our agility field. Tom is going to help me dig up these wild sunflowers and transplant them to our flowerbeds so that we can have our agility course back and maybe more tailored flowers next year.
It is really pretty here. When I get sad about NEVER going on vacation, I remind myself that lots of people come here to vacation, so … being at home isn’t half bad.
No, we continue to do agility at home a few times a week, but the training area is just super overgrown this year. We haven’t been doing as much.
Beautiful flowers! I can’t tell anymore when I see bugs like that whether they are ladybugs or those obnxious japanese beetles that someone transported into this country. Those things bite!
Even agility devotees need to stop and smell the roses — and other flowers.
Gorgeous photos. And Lily is so photogenic!
Ladybugs, ladybugs, ladybugs… They’re everywhere here too.
We also are having trouble navigating our agility course. Some of the grass is as tall as me. We don’t even own a mower… have never needed one before. Wow.
I really think Colorado is the most beautiful place on earth. I am extremely envious of you.
I do hope to see your agility field back though! Did you stop Lilly’s agility training even at home after classes didn’t work out?
