Rest in Peace, Lilly

Lilly Hawn was the original canine heroine of Champion of My Heart. She became famous for a number of things, including being incredibly fearful of the world at large, surviving all manner of medical scares, including 2 separate rattlesnake bites to the face and paintball poisoning that resulted in technicolor vomit.
Unfortunately, Lilly died after a 23- month fight for her life — following a severe rabies vaccine reaction.
You’ll find her life documented in blog posts between April 2007 and December 2013.
