Wordless Wednesday: Hiking Border Collie, Angels, Crowns

Lilly and I took a short hike early Saturday morning since it has already gotten CRAZY-hot for summer. A few pix for your entertainment. Clearly, something GOOD is always happening out of frame.

We were early enough to miss any mountain bikers who ignored the HIKE ONLY day schedule.

Maybe she is always looking east at the sunrise.

Oops, except in this one she is looking West.

And, this is her looking north. Don’t the rays of sun make Lilly look like an angel?

And, this for lack of a better analogy this looks like a yucca crown for Lilly, the queen of our local mountain.
