FREE e-book "8 Things to Know About Veterinary Care"

September 23, 2011

I’ll write more when I know more, but the preliminary news from one of the veterinary technicians is that the pathology report clearly says, “BENIGN.” She went on to say that the name of the tumor wasn’t something she’d heard of, so I’ll have to wait to talk to our veterinarian about the details.

BUT … the headline we’re shouting from the mountain top is …

It’s benign!

And, now … we rest and release all the worry and tension and focus on helping Lilly recover from surgery.

  1. And this is why it’s worth it to go back and read the older blog posts you missed. It’s great to hear the good news!

I hope Lilly can stay away from the vet for a little while. She’s surely had her fill.

  2. Hi Roxanne:
I know we spoke briefly on twitter earlier, but I wanted to share with you that my doberman Jenna just had surgery yesterday to have a tumor removed from her ear.

They are doing a biopsy and I should know next week. I’m so very happy for you and Lilly. This made my day when I read it on twitter. Give Lilly a hug for me.

    Janie

  3. That is the best thing that I have heard all day! I think it’s time for mommy to have a nice glass of wine and relax for the rest of the day 😀

  4. Woo Hoo!!! When my girl’s tumor was benign, we took her for a celebratory walk and I wanted to shout it to everyone- “MY DOG DOESN’T HAVE CANCER!”

  5. BENIGN one of the best words in English language! Awesome news (why the heck am I crying then?)

So happy to hear that, release the worry, enjoy the light of the day! (((hugs)))
