FREE e-book "8 Things to Know About Veterinary Care"

July 23, 2008

Someday, I’ll add up everything I’ve spent (which is A LOT) trying to help Lilly’s canine generalized anxiety and somewhat severe social phobia of people and dogs. For now, however, here’s a recap of very recent spending:

  • Veterinary exam and detailed blood work to rule out medical causes ($357)
  • Dog behaviorist consult, with 3 months support via phone/email ($275)
  • Gas to drive to CSU for consult ($32)
  • New anxiety meds x 6 weeks ($150)
  • New higher-value treats ($10)
  • DAP (dog appeasing pheromone) diffuser and more DAP ($26)

TOTAL since late June 2008:  about $850
