Surgery Vigil

I’m headed out soon to sit vigil during my sister’s mastectomy. If you could throw a spare good thought our way today, the girls of Champion of My Heart would much appreciate it.

I’m picking up the all-soothing Ali Baba hummus on my way (for dinner). I’ve packed snacks (both healthy and NOT), water, a couple trashy chick-lit books, and my iPod. That should be enough to get me through the afternoon.
