Nap Negotiations
Despite the continuing onslaught of germs, I’m actually up and working this morning on a relatively normal schedule since I have an interview at 9:30 am for my next Healthypet Magazine article, so Lilly and Ginko are jockeying for standby nap positions. I just watched the most interesting negotiation between them.
Lilly was sound asleep in the little dog sofa that sits in the sun in my office, which has very nice southern exposure. Ginko wandered in and tried to squeeze his big behind into a tiny spot of sun next to her. He circled and plopped. Harrumphed and shifted. Got up, laid down. Grumbled some more as he tried to find a comfy spot.
Lilly got up and moved to the bed under my desk.
Ginko took the dog sofa.
Both are now sound asleep.
