What no answer yet Roxanne…I was hoping for a answer.
Oh, I’ll answer probably next week. I’m working from the cardiac ICU while my mom is hospitalized. So, things are in purely MUST do mode for a few days.

OK, I am going to guess a ripped off (and chewed) part of a dog toy. It is definitely well loved.
It certainly looks like something that was originally a squirrel and now is a barf omellette.
