I recently ditched my affiliate relationship with a major / famous pet site that's owned by a huge pet products mega company -- both because I literally never earned a dime because their terms sucked so much and because I realized they sell (and lately promote a lot) shock collars (some of which now masquerade as GSP devices and dog activity trackers to mask their other purpose -- to train dogs using pain). So, if you're looking for new places to shop online, please consider K9Cuisine.com whom I have new affiliate relationship. Ditch the megastores. Support small biz.

K9Cuisine
Many years ago, some friends and I all wrote blog posts on pet topics for the original owner of K9Cuisine. I've since connected with the new owners of the company, and they offer so many of the same high-end pet foods that you probably already buy online or through your local boutique store.
So, if you're looking for a new place to buy pet food and support a SMALL BUSINESS online instead of a huge site that's now owned by another huge company, I invite you to give K9Cuisine a try.
Even better? If you use our special promo code, you get $10 your first order over $60 on items throughout the site:

If you ever need to see what's out there and maybe score a discount promo code, check out our new affiliates page, where you can see all of our current relationships.
I'm pursuing more of these relationships in hopes of boosting a new line of income for all the effort and real costs of keeping the site up and running. Honestly, it's just a few dollars here and there, but it all helps.
I'm waiting for a new deal with a dog nail grinder company to be finalized. It's so much faster and quieter than all the others we've tried over the years, so that's pretty fun. I'll let you know when that's a go.
Heading into year two of the COVID pandemic, I'm increasingly focused on spending my dollars to support small biz. I hope you will do. We've got to support small biz to keep them afloat or pretty soon, we're only going to have a handful of big companies dominating everything.
In other news ...
Mr. Champion of My Heart got his second vaccine this week, and other than a slight fever and a day of minor tummy troubles, he did great.
I get my second vaccine next week. Yay! I've blocked out my work calendar, just in case I feel ooky for a couple days.
Even though we used the same vaccine clinic location, he got the Moderna shots, and I'm getting Pfizer. Thrilled to have access to either!!
Hope you're staying safe and finding vaccine appointments quickly and easily where you live too! Two of my friends currently have active COVID cases in their homes (kids, parents, caregivers), which is pretty scary with these new variants.
Be well!
I love this blog! Thanks for sharing this great information. Keep up the good work.
Love this! I’m all for supporting small businesses. I hadn’t heard of these companies before and will definitely check them out.
