We’re actually planning a low-budget (practically no-budget) holiday season, but with all of you in mind, I’ll once again offer links to some of my picks.
I’m so sorry. The photos for this post got lost in a great blog photo glitch (discovered in 2013).
Here are two t-shirts I saw in the recent In the Company of Dogs catalog. From the people who brought you “Who rescued whom?” is a new shirt that just says: “I’m with the dog.”
I also like this one, which looks like it’s from that friend of a friend I mentioned last year, that says: “Home is where my dog is.” (Her name is Sally Brown, and she has all kinds of sophisticated dog lover stuff on her site.)
I’ll also plug my pal Cathy Lester who offers really amazing artwork on t-shirts and other items. I’m loving these new “Pursue Your Passion” illustrations that feature dogs focusing very intently on things like balls, sheep, ducks in the water.
Cathy also has a number of dog breed specific images that I adore. Today, I’m loving this border collie pup in watercolor:
So, there you go. A few items I came across during my at-home “window shopping.”
I too have tried to monitor costs and reign in spending!
I recently discovered this fantastic artist who does much of her work based on animals. She and her husband rescue stray dogs, since there is not animal control in the area they live. The proceeds from her artwork go to support their rescue efforts. You can check it out at http://www.flinn-designs.com
I also came accross this merchandise on Ebay & thought I would pass it on…I love the ‘alpha bitch’ shirt! 😉 http://stores.ebay.com/North-East-Rottweiler-Rescue
Lastly, there was an ad in the Bark magazine for Barkology and they have some really cute apparel for sale.
