FREE e-book "8 Things to Know About Veterinary Care"

July 3, 2018

Crazy work deadlines and a lingering internet-connection issue with my main computer have hampered my plan to create another cute birthday tribute video for Tori's third birthday (which was Sunday). Instead, please enjoy these cute dog photos from our birthday celebrations. A few other news items also below.

Since I didn't have time to make a new video, feel free to revisit the videos from Tori's first and second birthdays:

Otherwise, check out these glimpses from Tori's birthday from these super cute dog photos.

I asked Tori to scoot closer to Clover, and this is what I got. Ha ha

Birthdays are exhausting!

Car-sickness update. The good news is that Tori now seems to do okay (with help of 2 meds) for the drive down our steep and winding canyon to get to town, but she still often barfs when we drive back home later -- no matter how long we are in town, on solid ground, etc.

NEWS !! We're taking Tori and Clover both to a tricks class this long holiday weekend, where we hope they will both earn their FIRST titles (novice trick dog). Tori is going to stay after the tricks class for the regular agility class that Clover and I do each week. It will be REALLY interesting to see if she can focus enough to do agility in front of people and other dogs.

Because of her extreme car-sickness, she is not as well socialized as Clover is, and she just hasn't gotten out as much. She barked a little at times during my recent (rescheduled) birthday party / hike, but otherwise, she did really well.

To combat the tummy trouble Tori has on the drive home, we plan to dose her again with meds before we head back up the canyon. Fingers crossed that it works!

Other news !!! I'm working with an amazing coach on some big plans for the blog, new books, and more. So, if I'm quite here with not many posts, please know that there is some exciting stuff afoot for the future.

Have a great holiday weekend. Be safe. Have fun!
