FREE e-book "8 Things to Know About Veterinary Care"

October 31, 2010

I tried unsuccessfully to convince Tom to write a guest post since Halloween is one of his favorite holidays, but he did take this picture of Lilly a few weeks ago. It has not been doctored in any way. She is telling Ginko to “Back Off!” Check out our dog-face pumpkins too.

Tom's lab-inspired carving
Rox's much messier bc-esque carving

If you haven’t yet carved your pumpkins, check out these pumpkin carving stencils from Better Homes & Gardens. You have to use the slideshow to scroll through the options, then each matching stencil is on the page with the photo on it (based on breed).

  1. Oh my goodness, that is the funniest picture of Lilly ever! She really does look like some sort of possessed demon dog! Perfect for Halloween!

  2. Come on…the picture is not photoshopped at all? Is that scary or what? I bet Ginko backed right off.

    1. I swear. All I did was crop the edges. That’s her face. Those are her fangs. And, for some reason her eyes did that in the flash. Indeed, when she puts in her “mean” face, Ginko heeds the warning and turns away.
