Thanksgiving weekend Lilly came unglued while playing outside. We had our usual game of fetch going in the middle pasture. As she ran toward the fence to get her ball, she stopped dead in her tracks. The hair on her neck and her butt stood on end. She growled and crouched and slunk. It wasn’t that our neighbors were working on the fence. She didn’t care about 2 men being so close. Something else caught her eye, and she would NOT relent.
My shy, pretty fearful girl was ready to take on whatever came.
Ready?
Here’s a picture.
Wait for it.
I don’t blame your dog for getting upset that there is a seahorse with a tin can on its head in the yard. It’s an unusual thing to see.
Clearly, this is a kangaroo, whose head is tucked behind his shoulders. No wonder Lilly was afraid!
It’s a very thin wolf or maybe a sphinx sitting up very straight and trying to hide behind a log. Very scary.
No wonder your dog got upset. It’s so obvious that this is not a couple of logs, but the head of a dinosaur, probably a T-Rex. Look at it again. Go ahead. I’ll wait.
Okay, see the dinosaur is on it’s back. Where you can see the dried grass in between is where it’s mouth splits to open. It’s eye is closed.
Can you see it? Keep looking.
It will be like looking at those strange photos at the mall where you stare until you see the sailboat. I never saw it.
But I did see this dinosaur head : )
That’s hilarious. My always-alert german shepherd mix would have done the exact same thing. My happy-go-lucky hound mix, on the other hand, wouldn’t have cared less.
I see a slender brown wolf sitting and howling at the sky. (3/4 profile, facing west)
Whether it was a penguin, a wolf, or something else, maybe Lilly’s reaction isn’t so odd after all. 😉
It’s obviously a brown penquin, attempting to hide behind the tree stump, just waiting jump out at Lilly.
