We’ve nearly run out of BlogPaws Schwag to review. Thank goodness, though, we got this Hartz DuraPlay ball. It’s Lilly’s favorite ball, and we thought they were no longer making it because we haven’t been able to find one in local stores, and my emergency stash is depleted.

Before I ever saw this alligator in person, I named it one of my top dog toy picks for 2009 holiday gift giving because the idea of ONE toy having 16 squeakers cracks me up. Even the tag says, “This toy may drive you crazy, but your dog will love it!”

So, it turns out that July is National Ice Cream Month, and we had the chance to include the dogs in a little celebration at Champion of My Heart. The folks at Nature’s Variety asked us to try SweetSpots (a frozen dessert-like treat for dogs). We gave it a shot, and here is our report, including a video taste test (about 3 minutes).

After experimenting with putting Ginko’s Therapaws mat from Soar Pet Products around the house, I decided it’d be best used inside his crate, where he sleeps at night. That way, I could ensure good, consistent contact with his aching bod.
