The canine intestinal tract plays such a HUGE role in overall health, so I’ve been intrigued with probiotics (and prebiotics) for awhile now. Impeccable timing landed a product review offer in my inbox just before Lilly’s massive paintball poisoning. What better time to try something like this than right after our poor canine heroine got completely roto-rootered from both ends?

Sunday night while snuggling with Lilly, I found a big scab on her forehead, near the temple. Monday after our walk and again later in the day, Lilly reached up to kiss me, and when I hugged her back, she squealed in pain. Lilly never cries unless it really hurts. So, I worried.
BUT, for the life of me, I cannot figure out where it hurts.

We are a full 11 days into Ginko’s confinement due to ongoing knee issues, and things are going remarkably well. One thing that seems to be helping is an increase in how much fish oil we give him.
