Send to KindleNearly 2 months into this adverse vaccine reaction with Lilly, I’m still a wreck. At least once a day, Lilly and I have a conversation — brain to brain, heart to heart — that goes something like this.
“Thanks for not dying, baby girl.”
“You’re welcome. Thanks for finding someone to save me.”
“Of course. You’re my best, best friend. I love you with my whole heart.”
“I know. I love you too. You look tired, though. Get some sleep.”
“I’ll try. Sweet puppy dreams. Momma loves you.”
Tears my heart out.

I’m checking in with you daily now. We’re dealing with many of the same issues. Tsar who used to be light on his feet as a cat, now stumbles and it bothers him and me. We’re also seeing drool which is a first for him. The thing that bothers me a lot is the heavy panting.
We’re fairly sure that he has a tumor, but this was a relatively good week and we just take each day as it comes.
