Annie Douglass over at Mambo Sprouts alerted me to this pet photo contest being done in conjunction with Wellness Natural Food for Pets. The goal is to reach 1,000 entries, and Wellness will donate $1 per entry (up to 1,000) to a pet charity. All you have to do is upload a photo of your pet along with a pet wellness tip.
Five (5) first-place winners will receive a gift package of natural pet food from Wellness®, worth $25. One (1) Grand Prize winner will get a $100 gift package — plus the special privilege of choosing the animal-related charity.
You can reach the contest entry form and rules by clicking on the image above.
We’re probably going to enter, just for the fun of it. Good luck!

Good article. I am interested in the following: where do you download music and films? I download video and music( http://www.rapidsharemix.com ) here.
A very good article. Have you ever done a Rapidshare Search( http://www.rapidsharemix.com ) before? I recommend to try it.
Fun, I think I’ll send them a picture of Ed the Devilish Devon Rex.
Personally, I prefer to keep my money local and donate to animal welfare groups near me. Having worked at the national level in animal welfare, I have lots of thoughts on what the different groups like ASPCA and HSUS do and don’t do. I don’t have time/energy to go into it now, but my advice would be to find a rescue you like in your home town and support them.
I say stage it again and shoot the photo.

I missed the perfect picture for this contest the other day – my weiner dog, Molly, likes to lick the empty Wellness bag, so all you can see is her rear end sticking out of it with her tail wagging!
This brings up a question for me. I’ve been looking at animal charities and there are quite a few of them so I’m trying to figure out which ones are the best ones to follow and support. There’s the ASPCA, Humane Society of the United States (not sure how that relates to local Humane Societys), United Animal Nations, and then all the smaller local rescue groups. Sometimes I hear bad things about the ASPCA and Humane Society but they look like they do good work to me. Have you done any research on this or have any opinions?
Darn, both my dogs have to be on special diets so they wouldn’t be able to eat the prize!
Thanks for the head’s up on this. If I can find my favorite dog photo, I’ll definitely enter this… or maybe just take a new one. He is still quite handsome.
