This is the photo that the humane society posted. It's what got me to call my friend Connie, who is the director of ops, to ask for a 24-hour hold so that I could be the first to visit with her. At the time, I thought it was blurry just because. I've since learned that Lilly is afraid of cameras, which makes getting good photos hard.



I took this soon after Lilly came to live with us. We call the round, green beds "Lilly pads." ha ha



This is where Lilly spends much of her time — in the knee hole of my desk while I work.
